From intimate dinners and backyard gatherings to restaurant experiences, outdoor celebrations, food truck events, live music, and everything in between, Parties for the Park bring people together to have a great time while supporting the future of Durham Central Park.

Every ticket purchased directly supports Durham Central Park, Inc., helping fund the people and work that keep the park welcoming, beautiful, active, and free for everyone.

Your ticket helps support:

• Park maintenance and improvements
• Care of park structures and amenities
• Free concerts, programs, and community events
• Special projects and new park initiatives
• The ongoing work of providing space for community

Find Your Party

No two Parties for the Park are alike. Each has its own personality, theme, price, and size. You might find yourself around a dinner table with eight new friends, enjoying a neighborhood gathering, dancing at an outdoor party, or sharing a meal prepared by a local chef.

Parties can happen throughout the year, with our biggest season taking place in the fall.

Have a great idea for a party? We want to hear it!

Parties for the Park began as a simple idea: bring people together around something wonderful, and turn that gathering into support for the park.

Today, our hosts dream up all kinds of celebrations. You could host a multi-course dinner, a backyard supper, a house concert, a wine tasting, a cooking experience, a food truck party, or something completely original.

The only rule? Make it a party worth coming to.

Parties can be intimate or big! Anything from a table set for eight to an outdoor celebration for 150 guests.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

Party hosts bring the creativity, enthusiasm, and vision. Durham Central Park handles ticket sales and promotion. You get to bring your people together, make something memorable, and bask in all the fame and glory.
