A Louisiana-style dance party with food trucks, craft beer, and live music, supporting Durham Central Park!
The Glass Jug is partnering with Durham Central Park to host the hottest dance party of the summer!
Join us for live music by the Bulltown Strutters and the Cajammers as we get our groove on and enjoy local food trucks and craft beer, all in support of Durham Central Park.

TICKETS
Pre-purchase your tickets! By purchasing in advance, you secure your first beer at a great price and make a $5 donation to Durham Central Park. Additional beers can be purchased on-site, and $1 per drink sold is being donated back to DCP! Additional donations to the Park can be made through Eventbrite or on-site at the party. All funds raised will help support the amazing programming provided year-round at Durham Central Park.

SCHEDULE
5:00 PM – Beer begins flowing and food trucks open their windows to serve!
6:00 PM – New Orleans brass band jazz by the Bulltown Strutters!
7:00 PM – Free dance lesson with the Triangle’s own Rajun Cajun, Elivs Latiolais!
7:30 PM – Cajun 2-Step & Waltz with the Cajammers!
9:00 PM – Live music ends. Food trucks pack up. The Glass Jug taproom will remain open until 11 PM for any after-party refreshments.
DRINKS
A selection of beers from The Glass Jug will be available for purchase in the park. Additional beers, along with wine, cider, hard seltzer, boozy slushies, and other craft and non-alcoholic beverages can also be purchased at The Glass Jug taproom (directly adjacent to the park) and consumed in the park during the event. $1 of every purchase in the park and in the taproom will be donated to Durham Central Park.
FOOD TRUCKS
Food truck lineup will be updated 1 week prior to the party. Current lineup includes The Shrimp Truck, Gator on the Grill, and Magnificent Concessions! Food will be served from 5 PM – 9 PM
POEMS
William Davis, the former Hillsborough Poet Laureate from 2016-2018 will be joining to write poems on request for anyone in attendance. A portion of all proceeds from the poems will be donated to Durham Central Park.
DURHAM CENTRAL PARK
This event is being hosted to raise money and support Durham Central Park and all of the programing, culture, and fun the park brings to residents of Durham. The bands are performing at no cost, $1 of every drink sold by The Glass Jug will be donated to the park, and DCP staff will be on-site to talk about their programming and accept any additional donations.
