Shop Small is a nationwide event that is held the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to shop for the holidays at small, local businesses and to support the artist and maker community.
This is a free outdoor market featuring over 50 local artisans and makers to shop from!!! With members of the Durham Craft Market collective as well as selected guest artists for this events.

And rental fees ensure that we can continue to provide space for the community. The Pavilion is a versatile 9000 sq. ft. covered space centrally located in Durham Central Park. Pavilion rentals can include access to the bathrooms, water, electricity, and storage depending on the event’s needs. Additionally, you can support the park today by making a tax-deductible donation. Although City of Durham owns Durham Central Park, we do not receive city funding. As a result, the 501(c)3 nonprofit DCP Inc. programs, maintains, and funds the park and all its projects.
