Bike Durham, the City of Durham, and the Durham County Public Health Department’s Partnership for a Healthy Durham are teaming up to make our streets healthier, safer, and more joyful – for folks of all ages and abilities.
Move-A-Bull City is Durham’s largest open streets celebration. We’re clearing out the cars and opening up 1.2 miles of Blackwell, Corcoran, and Foster streets for people power. Walk, bike, roll, dance, skip, or boot scoot your way through downtown.
From 12-4pm on Sunday, Oct 5th, Blackwell, Corcoran, and Foster streets will be closed for cars and open for people. A variety of activities spanning arts, music, local government, food, wellness, and physical activity will take place along the corridor. For a map of closed off streets, click here.
The DCP Pavilion will have food trucks and treats to enjoy and a comfy place to rest your feet (or your wheels) for a bit!
